One of the hallmarks of teaching at the postsecondary level is the intellectual freedom we enjoy in finding creative ways to help students achieve success in their learning. The Centre for Learning and Teaching at Dalhousie University is pleased to invite proposals on the theme of Creative Teaching (and Learning!) for the 2012 Dalhousie Conference on University Teaching and Learning, scheduled for May 2 and 3.  You will find the official call for proposals at http://learningandteaching.dal.ca/dcutl_2012/call.html, but a few compelling highlights include:

·      An inspiring keynote by Robert Kelly of the University of Calgary http://learningandteaching.dal.ca/dcutl_2012/keynote.html

·      Up to 36 concurrent sessions on creative approaches to teaching and learning across disciplines

·      Plenary panels presented by experienced and early career colleagues.

The deadline for submissions is February 27, 2012. We are looking forward to welcoming colleagues to what promises to be an especially exciting conference experience!
